“But Moses said to God, “Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?” And God said, “I will be with you. And this will be the sign to you…God said to Moses, “I Am WHO I AM.” Ex.3:11 ,12a ,14a.
Whatever your situation entails, your spirit will prevail when your faith reminds you of who God is. God told Moses to tell the Israelites, I am who I am” has sent you. God is the same today, yesterday, and forevermore. Therefore whosoever your task master is today let her know that you are there in the power and presence of God Almighty! And begin to walk in the attributes and character of God.
He is Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord will provide; He is Jehovah-Nissi, the Lord is my Battle Fighter; He is Jehovah-Shalom, the Giver of Peace; He is Jehovah-Rophe, the Lord is a Healer; He is Jehovah-Shammah, the Ever Present One; He is Jehovah-Rohi, the Good Shepherd; He is El Shaddaai, the All-Sufficient One; He is El Elyon, the Most High God.
God knew that Moses in his own strength was unable and perhaps unwilling to face Pharoah who had him and his people stymied and enslaved. Also, and more importantly, they ( the Israelites) could not draw closer to God if they continued to focus on the seemingly overwhelming odds of the task masters. Growth, creativity, and deliverance cannot manifest itself when the children of God dwell on their weaknesses, and not on the power and sovereignty of Almighty God.
